Ethical Pixels Managing Director Larry Brangwyn first worked with one of the two Devs, Gary Baptist (Dev1), in a previous role – working to create cutting-edge Virtual Reality (VR) and Mixed Reality (MR) solutions. While Larry returned to the web and wider digital space, Gary remained on the VR course and struck a partnership with Simone Mangiapelo (Dev2). Together, they are Just2Devs.
Just2Devs wanted to make their own games and everything they were doing personally showed they were coding towards that same goal. Their company was therefore formed out of a common goal and friendship.
However, while they are amazing Unreal developers, they knew us as the expert web developers, so appreciated what an outside perspective could bring to their site. Ethical Pixels came on board to replace their initial self-built website with something more striking and fully-featured.
The site had to not only reflect their personality, mission and approach as developers, but showcase the range of products, tools and knowledge they produce. Plus the option to hire their combined skills.

Overall site design
Our approach features a sleek, predominantly dark design that feels clean and modern and reflects the common developer predilection for dark-mode user interfaces. The site is fully responsive across devices, allowing both gamers and developers to explore content effortlessly. The minimal branding reflects the duo’s focus on clarity and usability. The site includes some game-style graphics to add a playful, nostalgic touch that resonates with the gaming community and reflects the devs’ creative roots.
It also features:

Developer profiles
Sections were created to highlight the two devs behind Just2Devs, expressing the partnership narrative simply as “it really is just the two of us”, giving it a personal and approachable tone.

Products showcase
The extensible Products page showcases incredible projects created by the devs, each tagged by type (Plugin, Tool, Demo) and cost (Free or Paid). Users can filter by type and cost from the same listing page. Additionally, each product has its own page with details and links to view documentation, download and to get help via Discord.

Tutorials area
The Tutorials section hosts a plethora of expert knowledge on various topics. This section is expandable, with the devs regularly adding new tutorials on VR development and Unreal Engine integration. Tutorials on their products are also linked in relevant product pages.

Dev‑Log section
The dev-log section allows the developers share their journey of building products, giving their users insights into their process and a chance to learn from their experience. Moreover, for users interested in more logs and tutorials, a newsletter subscription system allows them to stay updated with content sent directly from the devs.

Contact options
The site provides contact routes through a simple form that connects to their email. Options to connect on social media are linked as well.

Documentation portal
The Documentation area is a separate part of the site dedicated entirely to developer documentation for all Just2Devs products. It’s a lightweight, purpose‑built area authored entirely by the two devs and built using GravCMS.

We’re really glad to have had the opportunity to work alongside the 2 Devs, and even happier that they like the results.
If you find yourself in need of Unreal Engine developers, especially those specialising in Virtual, Augmented, Mixed or Extended Reality, we really don’t know anyone finer than Just2Devs. Take a look at their site for more detail.
