Veracity

Our responsibilities for this project:
  • Brand development
  • Creation of concept art and UI to illustrate the product

In response to the influx of ‘fake news’ we’re increasingly subjected to, the minds behind Veracity want to give readers an instant but thorough sense check of how reliable the information they view online is by drawing together a huge array of publicly available data. They contacted Ethical Pixels for help developing their ideas into a visual showcase of how their website, app and collateral might look in the future.

We were impressed with the strength of identity and vision this budding company possessed and were determined to give their digital presence the gravitas it deserved.

The brief was to create the full brand identity including the logo and then to design illustrative examples of the website, mobile app and browser plugin, as well as test responses on representative users.

With trustworthiness key to their brand’s identity, we choose a clean, modern layout reminiscent of other prominent tech startups accented by a deep purple which evokes a sense of independence, wisdom and power.

The website concept was formally and professionally structured with a clean, legible colour scheme, fitting well to establish Veracity as a reputable organisation.

Ethical Pixels took our napkin sketches and hopes for Veracity, and transformed them not only into something anyone could readily understand but something investors could get behind.

Veracity is currently early in the process of securing investment. We wish them the best of luck with this and look forward to continuing work on this worthy endeavour.
